Haji Glover has been named Scholastic’s executive vice-president and chief financial officer, succeeding Ken Clearly who will transition to his new role of president of international. Glover will take up his new post on 22nd January and lead Scholastic’s global finance organisation, overseeing all financial functions, including financial reporting, planning and analysis, controllership, tax and treasury. Scholastic said he will be focused on facilitating growth across the publisher’s leading businesses while supporting Scholastic’s long-term strategy and capital allocation priorities. Glover will be a member of the executive committee and report to Scholastic president and c.e.o. Peter Warwick in New York.

Most recently, Glover served as the director of finance at Amazon. Before that he was senior vice-president of corporate finance at Scholastic from 2020 to 2022.
