Central banks reimagine cybersecurity and fintech policies, embracing change.

TLDR: Only a few central banks have updated their cyber security and fintech risk policies in the past year, according to the Risk Management Benchmarks 2024 report. The study found that just 25.8% of the 31 central banks surveyed made updates to their policies, while 74.2% made no changes. However, three jurisdictions stated that they have plans to make changes in the future. The report also revealed that 63.6% of respondents operate a joint cyber security-fintech risk unit.
