TLDR:

Spenda, a provider of SaaS, payment, and lending services, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with eBev, a marketplace for wholesale beverages in Australia. The partnership will integrate payment solutions into eBev’s platform, improving payment and cash flow efficiency across the network. Licensed premises on the eBev platform will have access to merchant services, eInvoicing, and payment services, as well as card-blended finance accounts and extended terms of trade. The rollout of the Spenda eBev Solution is expected to be completed by late FY24.

Australia’s B2B marketplaces are expected to reach AUD 23.3 billion by 2025, but inefficient payment processes are causing businesses to lose an average of AUD 1.3 million per year. The partnership between Spenda and eBev aims to address this issue by providing better payment solutions that can support growing demand in the B2B sector. By integrating Spenda’s payment solutions into eBev’s platform, licensed premises will be able to process B2C payments, receive eInvoices, and access card-blended finance accounts for purchasing goods from the eBev platform on standard statement terms.

This partnership reflects the market validation of Spenda’s unique payments solution across distributed networks in various industry verticals. Spenda has recently entered into agreements with other companies, including Carpet Court, AgriChain, and Capricorn, demonstrating its ability to generate recurring revenue streams. The extended partnership with eBev will help Spenda continue to evolve its offering to different marketplaces and deliver ongoing value to its customers.
